Ellsworth Kelly

Commissioned by the U.S. General Services Administration’s “Art in Architecture” program, Ellsworth Kelly created The Boston Panels specifically for the John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse.

The vibrantly colored panels are located throughout the building, starting in the Rotunda and at the ends of each public floor. Kelly’s art can also be seen from the outside through the courthouses glass conidal wall. For more information on The Boston Panels, please click HERE.
